Lessons for Humanity from the first migration to Abyssinia

There were many valuable lessons in this historic event, which Muslims of today can continue to draw strength from.

The first migration to Abyssinia was not an easy journey. Muslims left behind their homes, their loved ones, their familiar homeland – for a land that was unknown to them. Yet this new land promised safety during a difficult time, when Muslims were being persecuted for merely believing in one God, and following the Prophet Muhammad (peace & blessings be upon him).
