Professor Dr. Faid Mohammed Said, Chairman of the Sharia Committee at the European Council for Muslim Organisations and Leaders, had the honour of visiting His Eminence Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen communication and cooperation in serving the causes of the Muslim Ummah.
Dr. Faid Mohammed Said expressed his heartfelt gratitude and deep appreciation to the Grand Imam for granting him this gracious opportunity, affirming his pride and honour in this blessed meeting. He praised Al-Azhar Al-Sharif as a timeless beacon of knowledge and guidance for over a thousand years, praying to Allah to preserve His Eminence and bless him with continued health, well-being, and success.
For his part, the Grand Imam commended Dr. Faid Mohammed Said’s dedicated efforts in the service of Islam and Muslims, emphasising the need to intensify endeavours to uphold religious values and identity, to promote coexistence and shared peace among peoples, and to work tirelessly towards the integration of Muslims into their societies.
